Flett Exchange saw a surge in volume on June 5th and 6th as the last of the 2008 vintage NJ SREC’s were posted to generators’ accounts. Standing ‘buy orders’ were quickly filled by selling customers signed up on Flett Exchange. Prices were recorded between $258 and $260.
The largest offer seen in a long time on the NJCEP Office of Clean Energy bulletin board was posted by A&P for 687 SRECs. The offer was at $250. It is rumored that the deal was done above $260. A higher price is typical of a SREC deal of this volume.
Standing bids on Flett Exchange are trading actively.
